Who am I?

If we haven’t met yet—hi, I’m Reem! I was born and raised in the beautiful country of Lebanon, where football (or soccer, depending on where you’re reading this) was my whole world. I didn’t always fit in, but as long as I had a ball at my feet, nothing else mattered.

A few years ago, I moved to the U.S.—new country, new culture, new pace of life. Through it all, one thing stayed constant: my curiosity about people and the stories that shape them.

Beyond football, I’m also a travel enthusiast with a dream of visiting every country in the world. Not just to see places, but to meet people—to understand more about different cultures.

Why subscribe?

I have a dream of bringing human connection back to real life—to help us all feel a little more seen, a little more understood, and a lot less alone.

As a professional over-thinker, I have a lot to say but rarely write it down. This newsletter is my way of finally sharing the thoughts I usually keep to myself: stories about connection, growth, struggles and the quiet in-between moments that shape us.

I named this newsletter “Humanly Relatable” because I believe so many of us are thinking and feeling the same things—but we keep them buried, thinking we’re the only ones. I want to change that by putting them into words.

My hope is that as you read, you’ll see a little bit of yourself in these stories. And if you do, maybe you’ll stick around. Because this isn’t just about me writing—it’s about finding like-minded people who believe in the power of honesty, vulnerability, and real connection.
