The challenge to say yes when the heart/brain says no.. a classical conundrum.. should we go safe and predictable (nothing wrong with that), or take a chance and push our limits for the sake of unlocking potential.. 🤷🏼

I couldn't agree more. I am not athletic at all but for more years than I can remember I walked 10k steps everyday which isn't much of a challenge. One day I decided to go for 100k steps per day and woke up at midnight to get a head start. It got to a point towards the end of the day where I could barely move my legs but I kept on going because I was determined to finish. And till this day, I will never forget the feeling I had when I reached 100k. And every time I have a challenge or decided to start training for something, I remember the 100k and it gives me the feeling that I can do anything I want. I think we should always have the next big challenge in our lives, something to keep us going.

Wow! I need to know more about the 100K story 😦 My record is no more than 30K. This is the exact type of experience I'm talking about, the one that feels so painful in the moment but gives you a feeling you can cherish forever and now allows you to believe that you're capable of doing 101K or something else that is hard and I don't think it needs to be physical, that feeling literally makes you feel like you can accomplish anything in life. Which is why so many people are addicted to it and they keep pushing themselves haha.
